My Pet Owns All...
Ok, this has been brewing in my mind for some time now. Ever since I saw what the result of a pet's evolution could be (and because I'm a bit of a MechWarrior fanboy), this idea popped into my head and I just got around to doing it....
Forgive the crappy chop-job... I was using Paint

Well no, to be precise, its a Daishi (meaning 'Great Death' or something along those lines).
The Dire Wolf was the Wolf clan command Jumpship

Yeah it's definately a Dire Wolf, which is also known as a "Daishi". A lot of those mechs had alternative names e.g. the Mad Dog is also known as "Vulture" and the famous Timber Wolf aka "Mad Cat" Something about clan names...

In both mechwarrior 3 and 4 thats known and only known as a Daishi
But yes, I completely forgot that the Clansmen have different names for their 'mechs than the Inner Sphere names for them. (Dire Wolf was still the name of the Wolf Clan flagship in some of the Battletech books though!)
Hmm... I wonder how a ranger spike with that would work... I'm thinking maybe 2x ERPPC, 2xCGUASS, 1xUAC20 loadout? Call of Haste'd Daishis!

Yeah, Dire Wolf is the clan name for their own mech, Daishi is what the Inner Sphere dubbed it when they came against it.
Looks like this one was a cutout from a Mechwarrior 4 screenshot.

Would have been funnier if you had named your pet "Goliath X19" or something.
